We can’t wait to see you
We are a new kind of church in Knoxville, Tennessee. We’re not perfect; but we are committed to loving, serving,
and reflecting the love of Jesus through our words and our actions. No matter where you come from, we believe God
has you here for a reason.
Our
Story
Our Why
When you lose your WHY, you lose your WAY. Here’s our WHY:
“Our calling is loud, our commitment is strong, our hearts are full, and our vision is clear.”
Hope Valley Church is a brand new, life-giving church coming to Knoxville on September 13, 2020. For more information including how you can get involved, email us at hello@hopevalleychurch.com

REEVES & JENN WILDER
For the past 16 years, we’ve had the honor to serve as Children’s, Youth, Creative, and Associate Pastors. We are grateful for the opportunities God has given us to grow and develop. These experiences have shaped and prepared us to launch and pastor this new church.
HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW:
We are imperfect people, on an imperfect journey, while chasing a perfect God. We believe that there is freedom from yesterday, strength for today and a hope for tomorrow. We would love to meet YOU and invite you to join us on this journey!

family
REEVES, JENN, BRAYDEN, BRAXTON & LUCY
Jenn and I met in the summer of 2004, and then married in 2007. Since then we’ve had 3 beautiful children; Brayden (9), Braxton (6) and Lucy (3). We love spending our time together while watching our kids play sports, exploring the mountains of Tennessee, and finding fun and local places to eat. I have a crazy love for quality coffee, while Jenn loves a good trip to Target. One thing that we value above all is family. Creating moments with each other is a BIG DEAL, because those moments last a lifetime.
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 NLT

why
knoxville?
There are at least 850,000 people
living in or near the city of Knoxville. Yet there are over 350,000 people who still don’t know Jesus. More than just statistics,
these numbers have names; these numbers are our friends, our neighbors, our siblings, our parents, and our family.
More people are reached through starting new churches than any other way. So we want to build the kind of church that
reaches them. We don’t want to wait for them to wander into church, but instead, create the kind of church that we can’t wait
to bring them to. We want to start a church that exists to bring hope to the community.

the
breakdown
Our primary focus is to share the good news of Jesus with people who are far from God and to teach people how to follow Him. The message of Jesus, the Gospel, literally means “good news” and this good news is the central message of our church. Methods will come and go, yet our message will remain the same. Jesus is our message.
