KEYS MISSION

The KEYS mission is to connect people with God’s love through offering adults (50+) Christian fellowship opportunities by planning and providing a variety of day trips and various community service activities.

TRIPS

The KEYS Leadership Council plans and provides a variety of day trips throughout the year. Examples of these trips include….

  • Texas historical locations such as the George Ranch
  • Historical locations of early churches such as the painted churches in the Schulenburg area
  • Sports activities such as the Houston Astros baseball games
  • Theatrical productions at Houston area theatres
  • Regional interest items including Galveston Railroad Museum and Ellington Field Flight Museum
  • Houston Museum District activities

COMMUNITY SERVICE

The KEYS Leadership Council plans and organizes special events that are deemed to be of interest to St. Peter's congregation. These include…

  • Defensive driving class
  • Mammogram mobile in association with area hospitals
  • Home safety presentations by local fire departments

To all our senior friends, KEYS Council wants you to know that although we don't think it’s in the best interest of our seniors to plan activities at this time, we are still working to offer exciting trips and events as soon as the pandemic is over. Our main concern is for your health and well-being. We all send our blessing for a safe and healthy Thanksgiving and Christmas. We look forward to seeing you hopefully after the first of the year.
