PASTOR OFPat was born in Dayton, Ohio, but his family moved to Houston before he was one year old. He married his wife, Gina, in 1976 and they have two children, Lamar and Jency. (Lamar's girlfriend, Alexis, is also pictured.)
Pat received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from East Texas State (now Texas A&M - Commerce) in 1980. He received his Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University in 1983. And he received his Doctor of Ministry from Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University in 2002.
Before coming to St. Peter’s as our lead pastor in 2013, Dr. Sparks was the Southwest District Superintendent. He has served in a pastoral role in many other United Methodist churches since 1976, with the most recent being Bear Creek United Methodist in Houston, and First United Methodist Church in Longview, TX.
In his spare time, Pat loves baseball, hunting, and golf.
“I felt called into ministry at the age of 17 and entered the ministry at 19. From that time to now, I have loved to help others come into a loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to help others grow in their faith, even as I strive to continue growing in faith and knowledge of the gospel.”
– Dr. Pat Sparks
Email: psparks@stpkaty.orgParker serves St. Peter's UMC as the Pastor to the Kingsland Campus, preaching The Element contemporary service and leading the Evangelism and Discipleship Team.
Parker earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011, and interned at three different United Methodist Churches in three different cities during that time. It was halfway through college that he discovered his passion for developing loving communities who are intentional about serving Jesus in the world, and discerned a call to full time pastoral ministry.
He earned his Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2014, and has been a pastor at St. Peter's UMC since 2018.
arker loves spending time with his wife, Hannah (a woman who, by all accounts, is way out of his league) and their little girl, Max. He enjoys conversations with passionate people, soulful music, and days at his dad's ranch outside Huntsville.

Email: pzimmerman@stpkaty.orgAlex Zeisig is serving as an associate pastor over our West Campus and Mission Ministry at St. Peter's. Alex joined St. Peter's vision to plant a second campus in West Katy to respond to the explosive growth in West Katy and Fulshear (set to open in December, 2020).
Alex has had the joy to serve multiple Methodist churches as a youth intern, youth director, and associate pastor. He has a Masters of Divinity from The Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Starting new things has always been a passion of Alex's, and he is always looking for new ways for the Church to engage the community.
Alex did not grow up in the church, but he got involved because a friend invited him to come to youth group. He and his wife, Nicki, just welcomed their first daughter, Clara, and they're already wrapped around her finger.
Email: azeisig@stpkaty.orgWhitney grew up in Waller, Texas, the second oldest of six children. Whitney is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2004 where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Political Science. After college she worked in the corporate world as the Marketing and Communications Director for a Private Christian School in Austin, and upon returning to the Houston area was a Not-for-Profit Fundraiser for various corporations that raised money for groups such as Children’s Miracle Network, Susan G Komen, Operation Finally Home and others. Whitney began to feel her call into ministry at an early age, but it wasn’t until she left the corporate world and became lay staff at St. Peter’s did she listen to where God was leading her.
After being on staff as the SPLASH and SPLISH SPLASH Coordinator and Family Ministries Coordinator she entered into fulltime ministry. Whitney attended seminary at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and was commissioned as a Provisional Deacon in May 2019 and currently serves as our Pastor of Care Ministry and Courage Worship Service.
Whitney is married to Tim and they have one little boy, Jase, who is 7 years old. He loves dinosaurs, everything reptile related, and hopes to be a paleontologist. In her free time Whitney loves to read, find books to add to her to-read pile, organize her books, and really anything related to books and reading. She also enjoys traveling, watching the Office, pinning recipes on Pinterest and spending time with her family, which includes 22 nieces and nephews that she adores.

Rev. Jamison Doehring grew up in the Katy area, attending Katy High School, where he was technically on the basketball team. Knowing his NBA dreams were farfetched, Jamison enrolled in Texas A&M University intending to major in Industrial Engineering.
A lifelong lover of calculus and spreadsheets, Jamison was certainly surprised to receive a call to full-time ministry, eventually changing majors to Accounting before moving to North Carolina to attend Duke Divinity School in Durham.
While in seminary, Jamison was able to fulfill his collegiate basketball ambitions becoming a proud member of the nationally regarded Duke Women's Practice Squad. An equally memorable highlight was the chance encounter with his soon to be flame and eventual wife, Katherine. Katherine is a fellow minister ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA), currently serving as a chaplain in the Memorial Hermann Health System.
Jamison relishes the opportunity to coordinate the resources and leadership of St. Peter's in his position as Executive Pastor to live into the mission of connecting the world with God's love.
When he needs a break from his four-function calculator, Jamison can be found spending time with his son Henry or increasingly expansive board game collection.
