PASTOR OFYour children are very important to us. We have Sunday morning and mid-week classes and programs for children of all ages, from preschool through senior high, that will help guide them on their path to knowing and loving our Lord, Jesus Christ. Nursery is also provided for your little ones. Childcare is available for free during worship as well as during small groups and Bible studies throughout the week. Our hope is that you visit us and see that St. Peter’s is the right fit for you and your family.
We offer many ways to connect with people and get plugged into a small group,
Sunday School class, Life Group, or Bible study.
Joining St. Peter’s signifies your commitment to support the church with your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Complete information on becoming a member is presented at our monthly Meet With the Pastors meeting.
MORE INFOThrough the Sacrament of Baptism, we are initiated into Christ’s holy church and believe that in baptism God initiates a covenant with us. We baptize by sprinkling water on the head. We would love to baptize you or your children. Please click and fill out the form and we will contact you soon to put you on our schedule and to answer any questions you may have.
BAPTISM INFOWe believe that God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is all-powerful and all-loving and seeks to be in relationship with us.
We believe in the mystery of salvation through the gift of God’s grace in Jesus Christ. This gift is available to all persons. God became human in Jesus of Nazareth; and his life, death, and resurrection demonstrates God’s redeeming love.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s present activity in our midst. When we sense God’s leading, God’s challenge, or God’s support or comfort, it’s the Holy Spirit at work.
We believe that all people are made in the image of the Creator. Like God we have the capacity to love and care, to communicate, and to create.
We believe the church is the body of Christ, an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is the primary authority for our faith and practice.
We believe that in baptism, we experience a direct encounter with the presence of God in three significant ways: through grace, through relationship, and through the faith community.
We believe that Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, is a means of grace in which we offer ourselves to God in praise and thanksgiving through the receiving of the bread and cup. We believe that the Communion table is the Lord’s table, and therefore all are invited to participate.
